About

Please note: The COVID-19 pandemic restricted our events to Zoom-based virtual presentations from 2019 through early 2023, and most other activities and amenities were suspended. We recently revived in-person events, and are considering a hybrid approach going forward.

Who:

The Communicators Club is an entirely volunteer-run organization whose raison d’être is to promote learning and networking among communications pros — and aspiring students — in our region. Your participation in TCC’s monthly presentations ensures the continuation of a 72-year tradition of personal and professional growth through engaging and informative topics relevant to us all.

What:

In addition to underwriting a diverse lineup of guest speakers who are experts in their field, your attendance fosters future communicators through TCC’s Elaine Cencak Memorial Scholarship. Whether virtual or in person, all meetings include an opportunity to introduce yourself and briefly "pitch" your organization and expertise.

When:

Our events are generally held from noon to 1:15 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month, from September through May. Our season-ending Annual Meeting traditionally features a high-profile speaker. (Before the onset of COVID-19, it also marked the in-person awarding of the Cencak Scholarship). Virtual or not, don’t be shy; you’ll find we’re a welcoming bunch!

Where:

The Communicators Club is based in Worcester, Mass., although we have no brick-and-mortar home. As we return to in-person events that were not possible through the pandemic, monthly presentations are held in a variety of area venues that offer meeting-goers distinct cuisine, an informal atmosphere, and room to network and socialize before and after the main discussion. Your support and our hosts’ warm hospitality make it all possible.
